A three-year old boy made lots of sea creatures out of craft materials.
His favorite is the mother octopus and her baby.
He made a story that the mother octopus is holding her baby gently under the sea.

His name is "Nijiiro-kun", Rainbow Boy.
It means rainbow and sunshine.
He has been our character for thirteen years.

We have been running a children’s atelier in Minato Ward, Tokyo, since 2004.
Children at kindergarten level and their mothers participate in making handcrafted artwork.
Anything around us can be used as materials for artwork.
We value the joy of creating with our imaginations.
Children can enjoy so much more with their mothers than they would by themselves.
